Welcome to Animated Piston. I have set out to produce simple animations of the world's favourite motorcycle engines. So far I have concentrated on twin cyclinders as the rotation of the crank and the movement of both cylinders can be seen from one cross section. I have completed animations in the style of the Harley Evo & Twin Cam V twins and the BMW flat twin R100. Work on others is in progress Ducati and Motoguzzi are well on the way! My apologies for the fact that the animations do not currently run on most mobile devices, I am experimenting with different options.
